Meet Our Sponsors, Passionflower Design
(We will be highlighting each of our sponsors over the coming weeks. Please support these generous businesses with your dollars whenever you can, as they are local contributors to the craft movement, and many are run by women!)

Passionflower Design is located in the heart of the Historic Broadway/Pearl Shopping District downtown. Their amazing blend of gifts, home accents, bedding and luxurious sleepwear first caught my eye a few years ago when I spotted their storefront window displays and knew instantly that was a store I needed to browse. Since then I've been happily amazed at the changing assortment of jewelry (many from local artists), clever cards, and beautiful bedding in their spacious store. And of course, their floral design and event planning services, which they likely take the most pride in.
Owner Jewel Murphy, who first got her start collecting and drying flowers and herbs to create floral crowns she then sold at street fairs, truly connects with local women making art and crafts in Eugene. She feels crafters create a strong local economy of problem solvers, independent thinkers, and hard workers. Plus, she adds " I just love beautiful, well made things."

If you're a lover of beautiful and useful things, and well made design, be sure to visit Passionflower soon. And if you're a creator, artist, or crafter you're sure to be inspired. Murphy encourages local designers to visit, saying "Get some ideas for signage or displaying jewelry or something fun to make. I know I always visit other stores to get my juices flowing. In addition we have odd, eccentric, and ever changing assortment of goodies for you or your work: porcupine quills, sea sponges, Milagros, cast woodpecker skulls, fun ribbon, journals, butterfly wings, rubber stamps, cool cards and more."
