Meet Our Sponsors, The Kiva Grocery Store
The Kiva has long been a downtown Eugene favorite. Everything from natural foods in bulk and supplements to interesting books make this more than just your average grocery store. I usually stop in for a snack, a few things for dinner and a bottle of that Malbec up by the checkouts that I love.
The Kiva celebrates it's 40th anniversary this year, and continues it's decades long commitment to supporting the Buy Local movement. General Manager Carl Nash says "We carry local produce as seasonally available, and year round we stock local cheese, meat, eggs, milk, bread and many other grocery staples. We have pictures at the dairy cooler from each of the local farms providing us with free range eggs, providing the crucial direct connection between the consumer and the food producer".

Nash also mentioned the new line of Kiva Tshirts and hoodies, screenprinted by a local mama-run business, and Meet Your Maker vendor--Threadbare Apparel. Nash says "If you want to support local crafters and a locally owned and operated grocery store at the same time, come on down and buy a Kiva shirt! (Shirts not shown in picture above).
And not only all this, but I've recently learned that you can call in your order for one of those delicious deli sandwiches! Visit the Kiva website to view the Sandwich Order Forms and call to place your order!
